i love the taste of pesto.i have made it before from scratch, but by the time you buy pine nuts, you are looking at about 15$.costco has a jar of pesto for about 8 bucks.last week, i bought one. i made with that one jar…pesto.sundried tomatoe.artichoke.bow ties pasta.(for 15 people).had some left over.. made chicken.pesto.swiss.grilled sandwhiches.on sourdough for a sunday lunch (for 4 people).STILL had some in the jar..homemade pizza with pesto.basil.tomatoe.garlic. (dough from fresh &easy).this is how you live on a budget.get creative.
