16 weeks.? Are you sure. This third little sweet girls life is seriously flying by.
Her contagious smile, her sweet sweet spirit, and her baby snuggles are definitely worth the sleepless nights and baby cries.

It’s a Monkey party!!

I asked skyla what kind of party she wanted this year {{last year was decided by her sister}}. “A green monkey party with chocolate cake” is what she asked for…so it’s what she got.
Duane and I can’t help spoiling our girls. We will admit it and we love doing it.
Grandma made the cake as usual, we had some of her little friends and their families over, ate some fish tacos, drank some juice boxes, and I had to make homemade cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.
Pretty sure Skyla loved it.

Skyla June turned 2 April 2. I wonder to myself where the last year has gone. It’s gone WAY too fast. On her birthday day we took her to do some of her favorite things..eat French fries at the beach, go on the merry go round, eat froyo and play in the sand with her sisters.

Homemade Playdough

My mom used to make homemade Playdough. I always wanted the kind from the store, you know in the yellow container. Now look who’s making it for her kids…it is way cheaper and more fun after all.

Recipe I like best

1 cup white flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup water
Food coloring

Mix first 4 ingredients in a pan. Add water & mix well. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Dough will become a clump. Remove from heat & knead for 5 minutes.
